Life’s too complicated for easy answers.

It’s too precious for oversimplified shouting matches. And it’s much too interesting for all the dull drivel we listen to day after day. Starting right now, let’s embrace the complexity of all that’s around us. Let’s cherish every precious minute we’re alive.

Let’s chase wonder like our life depends on it.

About the Author

I also wanted to take just a minute to introduce myself. I’m Charity Singleton Craig, a writer, author, and speaker, telling stories of faith, hope, and love through essays, articles, books, and presentations. I’m the author of The Art of the Essay: From Ordinary Life to Extraordinary Words  and Poetry and Prose on the Prairie: A Nature Journal of Prophetstown State Park, a contributor to The Wonder Years: 40 Women over 40 on Aging, Faith, Beauty, and Strength, the author of My Year in Words: what I learned from choosing one word a week for one year, and coauthor of On Being a Writer: 12 Simple Habits for a Writing Life That Lasts

My essays and articles have been featured in Edible Indy, In Touch Magazine, Redbud Post, The Joyful Life, Fathom Magazine, Awake Our Hearts Jounral, InCourage, Christianity Today, The Perennial Gen, The Black Barn Community, The High Calling, Discipleship Journal, Tweetspeak Poetry, and more. You might say that my entire writing career has been an apprenticeship in learning to chase wonder.

In fact, this wonder-chasing theme first emerged in my life after I received two Arts in the Parks and Historic Sites Grants from the Indiana Arts Commission and the Indiana Department of Natural Resources to write about the state parks and present writing programs to park visitors. Connecting my work as a writer with my experiences in nature sparked a real interest to pursue all that’s curious and delightful in the world.

You can find more about me online at charitysingletoncraig.com and on Instagram @charitysingletoncraig. But I’d really love to learn more about you. If you have a minute, drop me an email to tell me one thing about you that most people are surprised by. Just hit reply and you’ll end up in my inbox like I show up in yours each week.
